Cramer short biography

A noted composer, pianist and music publisher, Cramer was regarded as one of the most renowned piano virtuosos of his generation. Cramer and Beethoven had a long and mutually rewarding relationship. Cramer also had a  long friendly relationship with Haydn.  After 1800, following a very successful model of Clementi, Cramer founded his own music publishing business in London. Beethoven called Cramer ‘the finest pianist ever’.
