Clementi short biography

The piano music of Muzio Clementi and, especially, his pedagogical Gradus ad Parnassum, has been well known to generations of keyboard-players. Clementi was born in Rome, but soon moved to London where he was immediately recognized as a brilliant piano virtuoso. Clementi became  famous all over Europe as a composer, teacher and pianist. Clementi founded a successful business of piano manufacturing.
